Greg Ratte Named President of Bishop Street Capital Management
(Honolulu, Hawaii, January 6, 2004) – Gregory E. Ratté has been promoted to President of Bishop Street Capital Management, the investment management subsidiary of First Hawaiian Bank. Robin Midkiff, who has been President, becomes Vice Chairman.
Ratté, who joined Bishop Street Capital Management in 2001, has been a Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. He has 18 years of industry experience.
Before coming to Hawaii, he was Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Bessemer Trust, a $32-billion money manager based in New York City. Prior to that he was a partner and Chief Investment Officer at Brundage, Story & Rose, a $7-billion investment firm that was acquired by Bessemer.
Ratté graduated from Amherst College and completed his graduate studies at the Japan-America Institute of Management Science. He is currently President, and a founding Board member, of the Hawaii Society of Investment Professionals.
Bishop Street Capital Management provides investment management services for both institutional and individual clients. It is headquartered in Honolulu, with a regional office in San Francisco.
