First Hawaiian Bank donates $2,500 to create Glen Gaspar Memorial Fund.

(Honolulu, Hawaii, March 5, 2003) – First Hawaiian Bank has donated $2,500 to start a fund to help meet the educational needs of the daughters of Honolulu police officer Glen Gaspar, who was shot to death in Kapolei on Tuesday.

Members of the public who wish to donate to the fund may drop off contributions to the “Officer Glen Gaspar Memorial Fund” at any First Hawaiian Bank branch.

“Our community owes so much to law enforcement professionals like Officer Gaspar and we want his family to know that we all consider him a modern-day hero,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Don Horner.
