(Honolulu, Hawaii, March 30, 2004) – First Hawaiian Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter A. Dods, Jr. announced the officer promotion of Debbie Y. Pang to vice president, Treasury and Investment Division.  Pang joined First Hawaiian in 1984 as an international assistant in the International Banking Department.  She also has held positions as international officer, investment officer and assistant vice president.  She is a graduate of Kalani High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.

First Hawaiian Bank also announced the officer appointments of:

  • Rosemarie V. Cantoria to credit officer, Credit Department. Cantoria joined First Hawaiian in 1994 as a senior credit investigator.  She was promoted to operations coordinator in 1996, credit analyst in 2000 and senior credit analyst in 2002.  She earned a bachelor’s degree from Hawaii Pacific University.
  • Jennnifer S. Kobayashi-Schiel, trust officer, Personal Trust Department.  Kobayashi-Schiel joined First Hawaiian in 2003 as a trust administrator.  Prior to joining First Hawaiian she was with Harrang Long Gary Rudnick et al.  She is a graduate of Punahou School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Lewis & Clark College and a J.D. from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College.
  • Chuen Ying Lee, trust officer, Personal Trust Department.  Lee joined First Hawaiian in 2002 as a trust administrator and was promoted to trust administrator in 2004.  Lee earned a bachelor’s degree from the National University of Singapore.
  • Jen-L Lyman to trust officer, Personal Trust Department.  Lyman joined First Hawaiian in 2003 as a trust administrator.  Prior to joining First Hawaiian she was with Stirling & Kleintop.  Lyman is a graduate of Kamehameha School, earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii and her law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law.
