MILILANI PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH RECEIVES $25,000 GRANT
FROM FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK FOUNDATION

(Honolulu, Hawaii, June 26, 2008) -Mililani Presbyterian Church has been given a grant of $25,000 by The First Hawaiian Bank Foundation, the charitable arm of First Hawaiian Bank, according to an announcement by Don Horner, First Hawaiian Bank's president and chief executive officer. The funds will be used to support the Church's preschool construction and renovation project.

Construction plans include a new 2,520 square foot preschool/day care wing, a kitchen renovation as well as upgrades to its existing restrooms. Mililani Presbyterian Church began as a Preschool ministry to the newly developing community in Mililani over 35 years ago.

First Hawaiian Bank Foundation is the charitable arm of First Hawaiian Bank. In 2007, the foundation and bank contributed $3.5 million to more than 350 non-profit organizations. The foundation funds educational opportunities, access to health care, services for children and youth, human service needs, and the many ways that the arts enrich our lives.
