LIZAMA AND CONCEPCION PROMOTED TO ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT
AT FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK IN SAIPAN
(Hagatna, Guam, June 30, 2006) - First Hawaiian Bank today announced two significant promotions on Saipan according to Anthony R. Guerrero, Jr., First Hawaiian Bank's vice chairman, Retail Banking Group.
- Juan S. N. Lizama, currently branch manager for First Hawaiian's Gualo Rai branch on Saipan, was promoted to assistant vice president and Saipan Area Manager;
- Victoria B. Concepcion, who currently serves as a Personal Banking Officer at the Oleai Branch, was promoted to assistant vice president and manager of the branch, succeeding veteran banking executive Ken Kato, who retired on May 31, 2006.
“Saipan continues to be a very important market for First Hawaiian Bank and we remain committed to assisting with its future growth”, said Guerrero. “Both Lizama and Concepcion are exceptional banking leaders who understand the issues unique to the Northern Mariana Islands.”
In a separate announcement, Laura-Lynn Dacanay has been named First Hawaiian's Guam and Saipan region manager, replacing John K. Lee who is retiring June 30, 2006. Dacanay currently serves as vice president and Maite Banking Center manager, a position she has held since 2002. She joined First Hawaiian in 1991 through the company's Creditcorp subsidiary where she served as branch manager. She was promoted to vice president and manager of the Maite Banking Center in 2002.
