FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK OFFICER PROMOTIONS AND APPOINTMENTS
(Honolulu, Hawaii, June 29, 2005) – First Hawaiian Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Donald G. Horner announced the officer promotion of Jan C. Ikeda to assistant vice president and business banking officer, University Branch. Ikeda joined First Hawaiian in 1987 as a residential loan processor. She also held positions as corporate banking assistant, assistant branch manager and business banking officer. Ikeda is a graduate of Kaimuki High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.
First Hawaiian Bank also announced the officer appointments of:
- Angeline A. Lau to assistant vice president and personal banking officer, Kapiolani Banking Center. Lau joins First Hawaiian with more than 20 years of banking experience. She is a graduate of Kaimuki High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.
- Ji S. Liu to small business credit officer, Consumer Service Center. Liu joined First Hawaiian in 2001 as a business credit assistant. She is a graduate of Aiea High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.
- Ivy N. Matsumura to operations officers, Consumer Service Center. Matsumura joined First Hawaiian in 1991 as a teller. She has held positions as consumer loan clerk, loan processor and assistant documentation supervisor. Matsumura is a graduate of McKinley High School.
- Kent J. Matsumura to assistant vice president and business credit officer, Credit Administration Division. He is a graduate of Roosevelt High School.
- Raymond M. Yee to IT audit officer, Audit Division. Yee joined First Hawaiian in 2003 as a microcomputer analyst. He is a graduate of Kaimuki high School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.
