FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT PROMOTIONS AT
MAKIKI, WARD AND WAIPAHU BANK BRANCHES
(Honolulu, Hawaii, July 5, 2006) - First Hawaiian Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Don Horner announced the following management changes at the bank's Maikiki, Ward and Waipahu Branches effective July 1, 2006:
- Gayle L. Pingree was named vice president and area manager for the Makiki and Ward Branches, replacing Edwin Siu who retired on June 30, 2006.
- Jeffrey S. Ventura was promoted to assistant vice president and area manager, Waipahu Branch. He takes over for Gayle L. Pingree and will oversee the operations of the Waipahu, Ewa Beach, Kapolei and Waianae Branches.
- Donna A. Kojima, personal banking officer, was promoted to branch manager, Ward Branch, replacing Jeffrey S. Ventura.
Gayle L. Pingree was most recently the vice president and area manager for the Waipahu Branch. She joined First Hawaiian in 1985 as an assistant operations specialist and was promoted to loan representative in 1989. She went on to manage the Kahala, Kuapa Kai, Hawaii Kai and Kona Branches. She is a graduate of Punahou School and has a bachelor's and MBA from the University of Hawaii, and graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
Jeffrey S. Ventura, was most recently the assistant vice president and branch manager, Ward Branch. He joined First Hawaiian in 1992 as a management trainee and has held various positions as loan representative, business banking associate, personal banking officer and branch manager. He is a graduate of Maryknoll School and has a bachelor's degree in business from Loyola Marymount University.
Donna A. Kojima joined First Hawaiian in 1984 as an accounting clerk and has held positions as secretary, senior documentation specialist, customer service representative and personal banking officer. She is a graduate of McKinley High School.
