(Honolulu, Hawaii, July 26, 2004) – First Hawaiian Bank announced the officer  appointments of:

  • Howard P. Bradford to vice president and sales manager, First Investment Center.  Bradford joined First Hawaiian in 2000 as an investment specialist.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston.
  • Raymond W. Phillips to vice president and portfolio manager, Trust Investment Department.  Phillips joins First Hawaiian from Bank of Hawaii where he was portfolio manager/securities analyst.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma.
  • Christina S. Kipilii to transaction management officer, TM – Draft Processing.  Kipilii joined First Hawaiian in 2001 as remittance processing manager.  She is a graduate of Maui High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
  • Leonard C. Ramirez to transaction management officer, TM-Bulk Mail.  Ramirez joined First Hawaiian in 1981 as bulk mail operator, was promoted to bulk mail supervisor in 1990 and TM mail services supervisor in 2002.  He is a graduate of Farrington High School.
  • Reid K. Takamoto to investment officer, Financial Management Department.  Takamoto joined First Hawaiian in 2003 as an investment specialist.  He is a graduate of Mililani High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.
  • Benjamin K. Waiolama to quantitative analyst, Bishop Street Capital Management.  Waiolama joins First Hawaiian Bank from CIC/HCM Asset Management, Inc.  He is a graduate of Konawaena High School.
