(Honolulu, Hawaii, July 28, 2003) – First Hawaiian Bank today announced the officer promotions of:

Michael T. Nishida to vice president, in charge of administrative PCs and networks. Nishida joined First Hawaiian in 1988 as a programmer. He was promoted to research and development analyst in 1992, research and development officer in 1995 and assistant vice president in 1999. Nishida is a graduate of Aiea High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.

Shirley M. Durham to assistant vice president, item processing. Durham joined First Hawaiian in 1989 as a document processing clerk. She has held positions as trust account clerk, TMD shift supervisor and transaction management officer. She earned an associate degree from Kapiolani Community College.
