First Hawaiian Bank Announces Officer Promotion
(Honolulu, Hawaii, August 1, 2005) – First Hawaiian Bank President and Chief Executive Officer Donald G. Horner announced the promotion of Wayne A. Maeda to personal banking officer at Kahului Branch. Maeda joins First Hawaiian Bank with more than 20 years of banking experience. He is a graduate of Roosevelt High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Maeda is a board member for the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center and the March of Dimes Maui.
First Hawaiian Bank ($11 billion) was founded in 1858 and is Hawaii’s oldest bank and the state’s largest in terms of total assets and deposits. First Hawaiian has 56 branches in Hawaii, three on Guam and two on Saipan.
