First Hawaiian Bank Announces Officer Promotion

(Honolulu, Hawaii, August 1, 2005) – First Hawaiian Bank President and Chief Executive Officer announced the promotion of M’Liss H. Moore to senior vice president and co-director of equity at Bishop Street Capital Management, the financial services subsidiary of First Hawaiian Bank.

Moore joined First Hawaiian in 2000 as a senior analyst and was promoted to vice president in 2002. She is a graduate of Kamehameha Schools and earned a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s degree from Stern Graduate School of Business (NYU). Moore is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

First Hawaiian Bank ($11 billion) was founded in 1858 and is Hawaii’s oldest bank and the state’s largest in terms of total assets and deposits. First Hawaiian has 56 branches in Hawaii, three on Guam and two on Saipan.
