KUKUI GROVE CONVENIECE BANKING CENTER
UPGRADED TO FULL-SERVICE BRANCH
(Honolulu, Hawaii, September 18, 2006) - First Hawaiian Bank's Kukui Grove Convenience Banking Center is now a Full-Service Branch according to an announcement by Michael J. Murakoshi, senior vice president and Kauai region supervisor.
The branch, located in the Kukui Grove Shopping Center at 3-2600 Kaumualii Hwy. suite 1023, now offers full-service banking including complete loan and deposit services, residential real estate financing, trust, investments and estate planning, as well as safe deposit boxes and an ATM.
“This upgrade from Convenience Banking Center to Full-Service Branch was done in response to the changing needs of this growing community. Residents and businesses in the area will now be able to take advantage of a full-range of financial products and services. It also reaffirms First Hawaiian's commitment to serve the people of Kauai,” said Murakoshi.
Joyce Vidinha will continue to serve as the manager of the new full-service branch with a staff of five.
First Hawaiian Bank (assets $11.7 billion) was founded in 1858, with its first branch on Kauai opening in Waimea on July 1, 1911, and today is Hawaii's oldest bank and the state's largest in terms of total assets and deposits. In addition to its Waimea and Kukui Grove Branches, First Hawaiian Bank of Kauai have branches in Lihue, Koloa, Hanapepe-Eleele, Princeville, and Kapaa.
