First Hawaiian Bank Officer Appointments
(Honolulu, Hawaii, October 5, 2004) – First Hawaiian Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter A. Dods, Jr., announced the officer appointments of:

Clifford M. Balmilero to vice president, Asset Lending Department. Balmilero joins First Hawaiian with 13 years of banking experience. He is a graduate of Farrington High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.

Marilyn E. A. Kunitake to assistant vice president, Real Estate Underwriting Department. Kunitake joined First Hawaiian Bank in 1991 as a management trainee, was promoted to loan interviewer in 1992, loan officer in 1993 and assistant vice president in 1995. Kunitake is a graduate of Aiea High School.

David M. Yamafuji to assistant vice president, Commercial Card Department. Yamafuji joined First Hawaiian in 1993 as a management trainee. He was assigned to the Kahala Branch in 1994 and was promoted to analyst in the Research and Development Department in 1998. Yamafuji then spent the following five years inCalifornia before returning to First Hawaiian Bank. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine Univesity.

Addie C. P. Lui to assistant vice president and IT Auditor, Audit Division. Lui joins First Hawaiian from Hawaiian Electric Company. He is a graduate of Kaimuki High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Hawaii.

Tina M. Roback to personal banking officer, Kaneohe Branch. Roback joined First Hawaiian in 1985 as a teller and has held various positions as customer service rep, branch secretary and personal banker. She is a graduate of Kalani High School.

Clarence A. Waialeale to business systems officer, Trust Systems, Account and Controls Department. Waialeale joined First Hawaiian in 1997 as a microcomputer analyst. He is a graduate of Kaimuki High School.
