First Hawaiian Bank Officer Appointment
(Honolulu, Hawaii, November 22, 2004) – First Hawaiian Bank Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Walter A. Dods, Jr. announced the officer appointment of Ryan S. Ushijima to senior vice president and chief compliance officer, Bishop Street Capital Management, the bank’s money-management subsidiary.
Ushijima joins First Hawaiian from the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs where he served as Commissioner of Securities. He is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, a board trustee for the State of Hawaii Deferred Compensation Plan and a board member of the Hawaii Society of Investment Professionals. Ushijima earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Montana.
