ANONUEVO APPOINTED
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL AUDITOR
AT FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK
(Honolulu, Hawaii, December 14, 2006) - Gina O. W. Anonuevo has joined the Internal Audit Division at First Hawaiian Bank according to an announcement by President and Chief Executive Officer Don Horner.
Anonuevo, who has over 12 years of audit experience, was previously a commissioned bank examiner with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) in San Francisco. She joins the bank as senior vice president and general auditor in the Internal Audit Division. Her main responsibilities include the overall planning, directing and managing of the Audit Division. Born in San Francisco, she is a graduate of Oakland High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration in accounting from California State Hayward University.
First Hawaiian Bank ($11.9 billion assets) was founded in 1858 and is Hawaii's oldest and largest bank. It has 57 branches in Hawaii, three on Guam and two on Saipan. It is a subsidiary of BancWest Corporation, a financial holding company with assets of $67.8 billion.
