Hawaii 3R's Campus Repair Project
On Saturday, March 29, 2014, 250 volunteers from our Information Technology & Operations Group and Oahu Region II branches helped refresh three Oahu public schools with repairs and maintenance projects.
FHB employees and their family and friends worked side-by-side with officials from the Hawaii 3R’s Program and the Department of Education at Manoa Elementary School, Kawananakoa Middle School and Waialua High School. Projects included painting bleachers, wainscoting, railings, walkways, hopscotches, graffiti affected walls, cleaning cafeteria louvers and planting grass.
What our volunteers did in one day would have taken the Department of Education months to complete. Mahalo to our employee volunteers and their family and friends for taking time out of their Saturday for putting pride into our schools!
