First Hawaiian Bank Opens New Aina Haina Branch
(Honolulu, Hawaii, December 9, 2013) –First Hawaiian Bank’s new Aina Haina Branch is now open for business, according to an announcement today by Bob Harrison, First Hawaiian Bank president and chief executive officer. The newly constructed Aina Haina Branch located in the former site of the original McDonald’s Restaurant in the Aina Haina Shopping Center, replaces a smaller, older branch in the same center.
“First Hawaiian Bank opened the original Aina Haina Branch in 1960 and we have enjoyed being part of the fabric of the Aina Haina community for over a half a century serving generations of customers,” said Harrison. “This beautiful new branch reflects our commitment to East Oahu and was built in appreciation for our loyal customers, providing them with the latest technology and banking convenience.”
The new 5,700 square foot branch located at 820 Hind Drive is double the size of the original branch. Its moss rock exterior and tile roof is visible from Kalanianiole Highway and features vaulted ceilings to let in natural light. Added customer conveniences include drive up teller windows with two lanes, a drive up and a walk up full service 24/7 ATMs, large-size safe deposit boxes and dedicated customer parking. The Aina Haina Branch offers a full complement of personal, business and private banking services, as well as residential real estate financing, and investments, insurance and other wealth planning services.
Lois Tojio, senior vice president, has been with the Aina Haina Branch for 32 years and will continue to serve as its branch manager.
