Honolulu, 6/16/26 - First Hawaiian Bank Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison announced the advancement of five individuals.

Cecily Ann S.U. Ching, Senior Vice President and Manager, Trust Real Estate Services Division. Cecily Ann S.U. Ching has been promoted to senior vice president and manager in First Hawaiian Bank’s Trust Real Estate Services Division. She is responsible for leading the bank’s real estate fiduciary platform, overseeing a diverse portfolio of trust and agency assets. Ching has more than four decades of experience in fiduciary services, banking, and real estate asset management. A graduate of Punahou School, Ching earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology/Audiology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is actively involved in professional and community organizations, including serving as Secretary of the National Trust Real Estate Association since 2015, receiving the NTREA President’s Award in 2023, and contributing to multiple condominium association boards. Ching currently serves as Director of Distinguished Young Women of Hawaii, an organization she has been involved with since 2014, and is also a member of cohort 10 of the Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance. She currently resides in Mililani.

Michael Bandola, Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Institutional Asset Services Department. Michael Bandola has been promoted to vice president and portfolio manager of the Institutional Asset Services Department. He is responsible for trading, analyzing, and risk-managing separately managed institutional fixed income portfolios. Bandola specializes in investment grade corporate credit and government bonds, and constructs monthly deals for the team’s equity linked note strategy. He has more than 21 years of experience in finance. Bandola earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College and his MBA in Economics from Washington State University – Carson College of Business. Born and raised in New Jersey, he currently resides in Ewa Beach.

Mizuho Murakami, Vice President and Corporate Banking Service Team Leader, Corporate Banking Division. Mizuho Murakami has been promoted to vice president and corporate banking service team leader in FHB’s Corporate Banking Division. She is responsible for providing high-touch, customized service, sales, lending, and operational support to a portfolio of the bank’s largest business relationships, while coordinating with the bank’s Wholesale Banking Group’s relationship managers to address complex client needs. She also oversees the Corporate Banking Service team and manages day-to-day operations to ensure customer service goals and standards are met. Murakami has 14 years of experience in banking, including 11 years with Corporate Banking’s service team. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies and a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. A native of Japan, she currently resides in Downtown Honolulu.

Heather Y. Otani, Vice President and Card Products Strategy Manager, Card Services Division. Heather Y. Otani has been promoted to vice president and products strategy manager of the Card Services Division. She is responsible for leading the team of card product managers, shaping competitive product positioning and growth strategy through targeted acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives, while developing and deploying data-driven campaigns that enhance customer loyalty, expand market share, and deliver measurable portfolio gains. She has 13 years of banking experience,  including 10 years of product management experience in credit card, debit card, and retail deposits. A graduate of Punahou School, Otani earned her Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Studies from Willamette University and her Japan-focused MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She currently resides in Kapahulu.

Rocky A. Anguay, Vice President and Branch Manager, Pearl City Branch. Rocky A. Anguay has been promoted to vice president and branch manager of First Hawaiian Bank’s Pearl City Branch. He is responsible for managing the sales and operations as well as the business development of the branch. Anguay has more than 46 years of banking experience, and is a graduate of Pearl City High School. He is actively involved with the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, the Institute of Financial Education, and the Philippine Celebrations Coordinating Committee of Hawaii. Anguay currently resides in Mililani.
