Enhanced App Sets the Standard for Digital Banking in Hawai‘i

Honolulu, July 17, 2025 - First Hawaiian Bank (FHB) announced the launch of its new mobile banking app, First Hawaiian Bank Mobile, designed for greater convenience with enhanced features and improved user experience, making the bank the technology leader in Hawai‘i.

The First Hawaiian Bank Mobile app incorporates a sleek new interface, intuitive navigation, and powerful user-friendly tools that give customers more control and flexibility, allowing them to bank whenever and wherever it’s most convenient to keep their finances on track. As Hawai‘i’s banking technology leader, First Hawaiian Bank Mobile delivers enhanced accessibility and real-time account information for a superior mobile banking experience. The app is faster, more intuitive, and expands all of FHB’s online banking capabilities into the mobile environment.

  • Increased Functionality – Open personal checking, savings and CD accounts, make transfers between FHB accounts or accounts at other banks, easily manage and pay bills, make mobile deposits, and view eStatements.
  • Improved Navigation – A new mobile thumb bar allows for a more efficient journey and click clarity.
  • Integrated Alerts & Notifications – All updates now in one convenient location.
  • Expanded Customer Service – In-app chatbot, help guides, and secure messaging.
  • Advanced Budgeting Tool – Monitor spending directly and easily in the app.
  • More Account Info – Detailed insights into loans and credit lines.
  • FHB Credit Card Rewards Redemption – Manage and redeem your FHB credit card rewards and points directly in both mobile and online banking.
  • Zelle® – Send money to people you know and trust with a U.S. bank account.

Supporting the Community with Zelle®
To celebrate the launch, starting on August 1, First Hawaiian Bank will donate $1 to Aloha United Way for every new Zelle® payment of at least $5.00 or more made through the new mobile app, up to $20,000 or until August 31, whichever occurs first.

The First Hawaiian Bank Mobile app is now available for download on the Apple App Store® and Google Play™ Store. Current users can update their existing app to access the new features.
