First Hawaiian Bank Announces Two Promotions and Three New Hires

Honolulu, October 19, 2023 - First Hawaiian Bank Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison announced the advancement of two individuals and three new hires.

Alyssa M. Nishimura, Vice President & Senior Audit Manager, Audit Division. Alyssa M. Nishimura has been promoted to vice president & senior audit manager of First Hawaiian Bank’s Audit Division. She is responsible for planning, leading, and conducting technical and/or complex internal audits of the bank’s finance, operations, wealth management, and/or compliance areas. Nishimura has more than a decade of auditing experience and joined First Hawaiian Bank in 2013 as an audit officer. A graduate of Maryknoll School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance as well as her MBA in General Business from the University of Portland. She currently resides in Salt Lake.

Lisa Perdue, Cybersecurity Governance and Program Manager, Cybersecurity Division. Lisa Perdue has been promoted to cybersecurity governance and program manager of the bank’s Cybersecurity Division. In this role, Perdue will be responsible for the development and management of governance, budget, and tracking/reporting of activity in for the cyber division, managing the ITAM program and ITAM analyst, overseeing the Security Awareness and Training program and activities related to audit, and regulatory and compliance activity for the cybersecurity program. She has over a decade of IT experience, and is a member of the Project Management Institute. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science, a master’s degree in Cybersecurity Management, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Leadership and Innovation from Purdue University Global in West Lafayette, IN.

Aaron C. Dodd, Vice President & Senior Principal Architect, Enterprise Data & Analytics Division. Aaron C. Dodd has joined First Hawaiian Bank as vice president & senior principal architect in the Enterprise Data & Analytics Division. He is tasked with creating and driving technical standards, driving solution innovations, and maintaining data & analytics architecture. He also will be coordinating and collaborating with FHB enterprise architecture teams and working with enterprise architecture on overall strategy and plans. He has over 25 years of IT experience and previously worked as a principal solutions architect for Amazon’s web services division. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management from New York University. A native of Richmond, VA, Dodd currently resides in Kakaako.

Olivia E. Fleming, Vice President & Treasury Management Solutions Officer, Business Services Division. Olivia Fleming has joined First Hawaiian Bank as vice president & treasury management solutions officer in the Business Services Division. She will be consulting with and advising the bank’s business solutions customers on treasury management product selection and account structuring. Fleming has nearly 20 years of banking experience. A graduate of Punahou School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She currently resides in Hawaii Kai.

Russell J. Rodriguez, VP & Retail Banking Training Manager, Sales, Service and Retail Training Division. Russell J. Rodriguez has joined First Hawaiian Bank as vice president & retail banking training manager of the Sales, Service and Retail Training Division. He is tasked with the planning and coordinating of the Retail Banking Group’s training programs – leveraging technology, systems, and other resources to build and evolve sustainable training programs in support of all Retail Banking goals and objectives. Rodriguez has over 16 years of experience in retail banking. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and his MBA in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Rodriguez is a native of the Big Island.
