FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK ANNOUNCES ONE PROMOTION AND TWO NEW HIRES

HONOLULU, October 27, 2021 – Today, First Hawaiian Bank Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison announced the advancement of two individuals and two new hires. 

Dean Duque, Senior Vice President and Branch Banking Division Manager. Dean Duque has been promoted to senior vice president and Branch Banking Division manager at First Hawaiian Bank. He partners with branch leaders to execute initiatives that focus on deepening client relationships through financial advice and innovative digital tools. He is also responsible for identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and increasing awareness of the bank’s brand and retail products through the branch network.

Adam Palmer, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. Adam Palmer has joined First Hawaiian Bank as senior vice president and chief information security officer in the bank’s Cybersecurity Division within the Enterprise Technology Management Group. He is responsible for all cybersecurity risk management activities across the bank and leads a team that manages technical operational cybersecurity defense activities. Palmer has over twenty years of experience in cybersecurity and was most recently a chief cybersecurity strategist in Dublin, Ireland.

Mark Troske, Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. Mark Troske has joined First Hawaiian Bank as senior vice president and chief technology officer in the Digital Banking & Marketing Group. With over 25 years of information technology experience, he serves as the bank’s chief architect, responsible for leading technology innovation by strengthening and advancing the bank’s digital first approach to banking, to provide its customers with the service, products, and support they need in the banking channel they choose.
