First Hawaiian Bank Announces Four Promotions

HONOLULU, December 23, 2020 – Today, First Hawaiian Bank announced the advancement of four individuals. Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison is pleased to congratulate the following bank officers on their hard work and well-deserved promotions:

  • Chris Anjo, vice president and commercial banking officer of the Commercial Banking Group, Main Banking Region. Chris Anjo has been appointed to vice president and commercial banking officer of the Commercial Banking Group, Main Banking Region. Anjo has 12 years of IT and commercial banking experience and is responsible for assisting customers in analyzing their business operations for efficiencies and supporting their financial objectives. He previously served as a business systems analyst, senior credit analyst, commercial real estate banking officer and assistant vice president in business banking.
  • Devon Chow, vice president and commercial banking officer of the Commercial Banking Group, Kapiolani Banking Region. First Hawaiian Bank has named Devon Chow vice president and commercial banking officer of the Commercial Banking Group, Kapiolani Banking Region. Chow has nine years of financial services experience and helps business clients achieve operation efficiencies, gain better returns on their deposits and focus their attention on their financial goals. He previously served as a credit analyst, commercial real estate credit associate and assistant vice president in business banking.
  • Helen Giron, vice president and Lahaina Branch manager. Helen Giron has been named as vice president and Lahaina Branch manager. With over 31 years of branch banking experience, Giron is responsible for overseeing branch operations to help her clients understand their available banking options, make banking more convenient and determine what financial services will assist them in achieving their goals.  She previously served as personal banking officer and branch manager at the Bank’s Kihei, Wailea and Lahaina branches.
  • Sheri-Ann Higa, vice president and Kailua Banking Center manager. Sheri-Ann Higa has been promoted to vice president and Kailua Banking Center manager. Higa has over 32 years of financial services experience and was most recently First Hawaiian Bank’s vice president and Manoa branch manager. She understands all facets of retail banking and is responsible for leading a branch team to assist customers in reaching their financial goals. Higa joined the bank in 1988 as a management trainee and has served as a branch service supervisor and sales manager.
