SBA Export Loans
The U.S. Small Business Administration has prioritized helping small business exporters by providing loan programs designed specifically to help expand export activities.
First Hawaiian Bank is authorized to participate in the following SBA programs:
Export Express Loan Program - The SBA Export Express offers flexibility and ease of use. Use this program for loans or lines of credit for export development. Your company needs to be in operations for 12 full months or more and be able to demonstrate that the loan proceeds will be used to support export activity.
Export Working Capital Program (EWCP) - This program provides working capital advances on export orders, on export receivables or letters of credit. The Exporters can apply for EWCP loans in advance of finalizing an export sale or contract. With an approved EWCP loan in place, exporters have greater flexibility in negotiating export payment terms—secure in the assurance that adequate financing will be in place when the export order is won.
Contact a Small Business Banker at your nearest branch for help with these loans.
