Trans-e-View
First Hawaiian Bank’s web reporting service, Trans-e-View, allows our merchants to research credit card transactions.  Trans-e-View provides the ability to search for transactions that were settled before 4:00 P.M. HST on the previous business day to 60 days prior to that date.

Transactions may be viewed for the current month or the prior month. Within those months, transactions may be viewed by:

  • Merchant ID
  • Terminal ID
  • Credit Card Type
  • Transaction Type
  • Batch

These categories may be sorted further by:

  • Transaction Date/Time
  • Reference Number
  • Batch

Transaction searches can also be done by Date Range and for individual transactions.

Reports can be printed and/or downloaded to spreadsheet or database programs.

Your information is fully secured; access requires a User ID and Password. Your designated Administrator will be assigned a User ID and Password. The Administrator in turn will be able to assign users with their User ID and Password and assign them levels of access.

Electronic Draft Capture
Get immediate credit with this service that replaces your paper sales draft deposits with direct electronic deposits. No more driving to the bank to make deposits. Your credit card receipts will be immediately deposited directly into your bank account. In addition, every credit card transaction will be automatically authorized.

Paper Sales Draft Deposits
Receive same day credit on the day of deposit for your sales drafts. Just complete a Merchant Summary Form, along with the sales drafts, and deposit at any conveniently located branch.

The FHB Data Breach Assistance Program helps to reduce a merchant’s expenses resulting from a suspected or actual breach of credit card data. The data breach can be either a point-of-sale system breach or the physical theft of the credit card data from stolen receipts, stolen computers, or card skimming.

Program Eligibility

  • Any Level 2, 3 or 4 merchant is eligible, provided all vulnerabilities caused by any prior data breach have been remediated.

  • Level 1 merchants are not eligible for this protection. Level 1 merchants include merchants with non-remediated vulnerabilities from a prior breach or merchants with more than 6 million transactions per year.

Program Protection

  • A mandatory forensic audit required by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) of a merchant when a data breach is suspected.

  • Card replacement costs and related expenses resulting from the data breach.

  • Fees, fines and penalties levied against a merchant by card brands as a result of a data security breach.

Program Limits
The Data Breach Assistance Program provides assistance up to $100,000 per merchant identification number (MID)/per year.  For companies with 5 or more MIDs, there is also a maximum limit of $500,000 in protection per year. This maximum limit applies when 5 or more of a company's MIDs are breached during the course of the year, either in a single incident or in a series of incidents.
