FHB Community Care Program
First Hawaiian Bank’s COMMUNITY CARE is our Employee Volunteer Service program, which launched in 2014, connecting non-profits with employees willing and ready to lend a hand. This bank-wide initiative serves as a team-building activity for First Hawaiian’s 2,200 employees.
Since 1858, First Hawaiian Bank has actively supported the communities we serve. It’s our bank’s culture, our legacy that continues on today through the spirit of our employees who volunteer, serve on non-profit boards, and participate in blood drives, food drives, community walks, and charity events.
Each year about 98% of our employees also give generously to KOKUA MAI, First Hawaiian’s employee giving campaign. Since the program’s inception in 2007, more than $4.1 million was donated to local charities in Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.
