  • Popmoney Standard3: Up to $1,000 per day/in-flight and up to $4,000 in a rolling 30 day period. Popmoney payments will be processed in approximately 3 business days once a payment is accepted by the recipient.

  • Popmoney Next Day3: Up to $100 per day/in-flight and up to $400 in a rolling 30 day period. Popmoney payments will be processed the next business days once a payment is accepted by the recipient.

  • Included with Bill Pay: Popmoney is included with Online Bill Pay2 and there are no additional transaction fees for standard Popmoney payments.

  • Free 2 month Trial2: Customers that are new to the Online Bill Payment service receive a free 2 month trial. Online Bill Payment, including Popmoney, is always free for Complete Checking, Secure Checking and Priority Banking customers, and is $5.99 per month for all other personal customers. For business customers, the service is free for Priority Level 3 customers and $15.99 per month for other business customers. Any applicable fees will start to be assessed after the free trial period.

  • Recipient Location: You can send money to nearly anyone with an email address, U.S. mobile phone number or U.S. bank account. We recommended sending via email or bank account for recipients in Guam or Saipan.

Popmoney FAQs

  • How do I sign up for Popmoney?

    Popmoney is available to customers registered for FHB Online® and can be accessed by selecting the “Payments” link the navigation. If you are not a Bill Pay subscriber, you will be prompted to accept the Bill Pay Terms & Conditions (fees may apply, see Terms & Conditions). Popmoney will appear as a tab on the Payment Center.

    Your email address and mobile phone number are required as part of the sign up process. You will need to verify the email address we have on file is correct. If it is incorrect, please close the window and click “Update Email Address” under the “Settings” link to update your email address. After confirming your email address, return to the “Popmoney” tab on the Payment Center and you will also be asked to provide a mobile phone number as part of the sign up process.

  • Who can I send money to?

    You can send money to nearly anyone with an email address or U.S. mobile phone number. The person receiving the notification will be able to deposit the money to any personal checking, savings, money market checking, or money market savings account at FHB or nearly any U.S. bank. You can also send money directly to someone else’s bank account (within the U.S.) if you have their bank routing and account number information.

  • Can I send money internationally?

    No, you can only send money to individuals via their accounts within the U.S.

  • When does the transaction get debited from my account?

    The transaction debit request is initiated on the "send date" but will not post against your account for one to two Business Days.
