FIRST HAWAIIAN BANK ANNOUNCES THREE PROMOTIONS

HONOLULU, June 7, 2021 – Today, First Hawaiian Bank announced the advancement of three individuals. Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Harrison is pleased to congratulate the following bank officers on their hard work and well-deserved promotions:

Gwynn Nakamura, assistant vice president & Kapahulu Branch manager. Gwynn Nakamura has been promoted to assistant vice president & Kapahulu Branch manager. She oversees all aspects of branch operations and leads a team of bankers who provide business and consumer clients personalized solutions to achieve their financial goals. Nakamura has over 25 years of financial services experience and previously served as a personal banker and sales manager at First Hawaiian’s Kahala Branch and assistant vice president and team leader at the Bank’s Main Banking Center.

Isaac Okita, vice president, assistant treasurer and Financial Planning & Analysis Division manager. Isaac Okita has been promoted to vice president, assistant treasurer and Financial Planning & Analysis Division manager. He will be responsible for focusing on profitability analytics, financial analysis and forecasting, while providing strategic guidance for the Bank’s asset liability management and investment portfolio areas. Okita has over 12 years of experience in finance, treasury and capital market functions.

Kelsey Lew, assistant vice president & Corporate Card Department manager. First Hawaiian Bank has promoted Kelsey Lew to assistant vice president & Corporate Card Department manager. She has over 14 years of experience in the credit card business and most recently served as First Hawaiian Bank’s assistant vice president and senior account manager in the Commercial Card Department. Lew will focus her efforts on integrating new technologies and capabilities for the Bank’s card-based commercial payments and provide exceptional support and customer service to her clients.
