United[[®]] Credit Card

1. *Award flight pricing: Eligible primary Cardmembers will be eligible to book award flights on United^® or United^® Express with discounted award pricing. Cardmember award pricing is valid on award flights on United or United Express only; Cardmember award pricing does not apply to Money + Miles tickets, tickets purchased with cash, or other redemption products. Eligible primary Cardmembers without MileagePlus Premier status will be eligible to book award flights on United or United Express with at least 10% fewer miles than the base price paid by members without an eligible card, and Primary Cardmembers with MileagePlus Premier status will be eligible to book award flights on United or United Express with at least 15% fewer miles than the base price paid by members without an eligible card. To be eligible to receive Cardmember award pricing, the account must be open and not in default at time of fulfillment. To receive Award Pricing, the qualifying award reservation must be booked with the primary Cardmember’s MileagePlus account. Cardmember award pricing is valid for the primary Cardmember’s MileagePlus account only and is not transferrable. Your card issuer is not responsible for the provision of, or failure to provide, the Cardmember award pricing on United or United Express flights.

Please allow 6-8 weeks after completed qualifying activity for miles to post to your account. United may change the MileagePlus Program including, but not limited to, rules, regulations, travel awards and special offers or terminate the MileagePlus Program at any time and without notice. United and its subsidiaries, affiliates and agents are not responsible for any products or services of other participating companies and partners. Taxes and fees related to award travel are the responsibility of the member. Bonus award miles, award miles and any other miles earned through non-flight activity do not count toward qualification for Premier status unless expressly stated otherwise. The accumulation of mileage or Premier status or any other status does not entitle members to any vested rights with respect to the MileagePlus Program. MileagePlus Program participation may not be permitted in some countries. All calculations made in connection with the MileagePlus Program, including without limitation with respect to the accumulation of mileage and the satisfaction of the qualification requirements for Premier status, will be made by United Airlines and MileagePlus in their discretion and such calculations will be considered final. 2. This offer is subject to credit approval and may change over time. Apply for the United® Credit Card and, if you are approved, receive 30,000 bonus United MileagePlus® miles after spending $1,500 within the first three months after account opening. Your account opening date is noted on your approval letter. After qualifying, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for bonus miles to post to your MileagePlus account. To be eligible for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment of bonus miles.
3. Merchant registration may affect whether a purchase is eligible to earn additional United Miles per one (1) dollar spent. Purchases made at department stores, superstores, discount stores, warehouse clubs, and gas purchases made outside of automotive gas stations are not eligible to receive additional miles. United Miles have no cash value except as described in the United Program Agreement. See the United Credit Card Program Agreement for details.
4. MileagePlus members earn miles per dollar calculated based on the fare. Members can earn a maximum of 75,000 miles per ticket which includes Premier bonus miles. This includes all flights operated by United and United Express. Star Alliance™ and MileagePlus partner airline tickets issued by United also earn miles at this rate. Premier members will earn bonus miles on every flight. The amount depends on the purchased fare and status level on the date of travel. The fare is the base fare of the ticket plus carrier-imposed surcharges, excluding any government-imposed taxes and surcharges. For tickets purchased in a currency other than U.S. dollars, we will convert the purchase to U.S. dollars using an industry-standard exchange rate and then calculate the number of miles you will earn. Please note that the price displayed when purchasing a ticket on united.com includes up to a 7.5% U.S. Federal Transportation Tax on the base amount of the fare on itineraries wholly within the United States. This tax also applies to certain itineraries between the U.S. and Canada or Mexico. You will not earn PQP or miles for the full amount of the displayed price for these itineraries because the U.S. Federal Transportation tax is not eligible to earn PQP or miles.
5. The Primary Cardholder’s first and second standard checked bags are free when you use your United^® Credit Card from First Hawaiian Bank to purchase your tickets on United- and United Express-operated flights; codeshare partner-operated flights are not eligible. The Primary Cardholder's MileagePlus account number must be added to the flight reservation with United. Oversized/overweight/extra baggage service charges still apply if applicable. Cardholders who are already exempt from other checked baggage service charges will not receive an additional free standard checked bag. Please allow 2 weeks after account opening for your first free standard checked bag to be available on eligible United reservations.
6. Receive 25% back, in the form of a credit card account statement credit, on purchases of food, beverages, and Wi-Fi onboard United- and United Express-operated flights when you use your First Hawaiian Bank United Card to make such purchases. To qualify for the 25% back, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. Please allow up to 45 days after your onboard purchase posts to your account for the statement credit to post to your account. 7. Two (2) United Club one-time passes will be deposited into the primary Cardholder's MileagePlus Program account after account opening and every 12 months thereafter as long as the credit card account remains open and in good standing. Please allow 4 weeks for your United Club passes to be deposited into your MileagePlus Program account. Each pass grants one person; either the primary Cardholder, authorized user, or guests accompanied by the Cardholder or authorized user, one-time access to a United Club location subject to United Club terms & conditions (see united.com/UnitedClubRules) and Club access policies (see united.com/UnitedClubAccess) each of which is subject to change, with or without notice. Access is subject to space availability. United Club passes must be presented for admittance to the United Club and can be accessed through the United app or by printing them from your MileagePlus account on united.com. United Club passes issued as a Cardholder benefit have no cash value, cannot be sold, gifted or transferred and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Each United Club pass is subject to the expiration date located on the pass.  United reserves the right to modify pricing, benefits services, hours, club locations, and reciprocal lounge agreements at any time with or without written notice to its members and customers. If your credit card account is closed, United and First Hawaiian Bank reserve the right to remove the United Club passes from your MileagePlus Program account. 8. Upgrades are available on selected United- and United-Express-operated flights, subject to availability. Travel companions and cardholders who are not the primary cardholder are not eligible to take advantage of this benefit. Assignment of upgrades on award tickets within each Premier®-Express-operated level will be prioritized after the lowest paid fare class.
9. The primary Cardholder of a First Hawaiian Bank United® Credit Card will earn up to a maximum of 1,000 PQP within the calendar year (including purchases made by authorized users). “Purchases” do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers, or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino camping chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. PQP will apply towards Premier status tiers up to and including Premier 1k^®. Eligible Cardholders must take a minimum of 4 flights on United or United Express to qualify for Premier status. PQP earn rate, annual cap and qualification requirements for Premier status may vary by MileagePlus program year and MileagePlus Credit Card type.
