Entitlements are included with FHB Online Business Banking1 but must be enabled for your online business account.

  • To enable Entitlements, login to FHB Online and click on the envelope icon to send a Secured Message with your request.
  • To create a new sub-user, go to Settings, then Users and click “Add”. You will be prompted for the user information and to select the level of access for each account.
  • Once created, provide the sub-user with their new Username. They will receive an email to create their password.

Sub-User Access Levels

  • No Access – This will hide the account from the user’s view
  • View Access - The user can view the account, but cannot make any changes or create any transactions
  • Full Access - Allows the user to view account information and process internal transfers and eBill payments

  • How can I enable the capability to add sub-users using Entitlements?

    You must be a business customer enrolled in FHB Online Business Banking to utilize the Entitlements capability. To enable the service, login to FHB Online and click on the envelope icon in the top right corner. Send a Secured Message requesting that the service be enabled for your online banking account.

  • Is there a limit to the number of sub-users an online business account can have?

    2 sub-users are included with FHB Online Business Banking and it is $1/month per additional sub-user after the first 2. There is no limit to the number of sub-users. However, if your business has a need for many sub-users our Online Business Center (OBC) may be a more fitting solution to consider.

  • How do I add a sub-user?

    Login to FHB Online and click on “Settings” in the top right corner. Then go to Users, click the “Add User” link and follow the prompts to create a new sub-user. You will need to provide the sub-user with the Username that you’ve created for them. The newly added sub-user will receive an email with a link to create their password. This link is valid for 90 minutes.

  • Can I resend the sub-user activation email?

    Yes, if the sub-user isn’t able to complete the enrollment process within 90 minutes of receiving the email, you can resend the email. Login to FHB Online and click on “Settings” in the top right corner. Then go to Users, find the sub-user and click the “Resend Email” option.

  • Does a sub-user’s login expire?

    No. We recommend that primary users review their list of active sub-users throughout the year to ensure the information is up to date.
