Q: What account information is available in the First Hawaiian Bank skill?
A:

You can request balance and recent transaction information for your savings, checking, MaxiMizer, IRA, Christmas club, CD, Yes Check, credit card, and First Line account(s). If you are a newly enrolled FHB Online customer, or added a new account, it may take one business day to hear all of your account history using the First Hawaiian Bank skill.

Q: What transaction information is available?
A:

Alexa will provide the transaction date, the transaction type (credit or debit), and the amount of the transaction

Q: How much transaction history is available?
A:

For each account, Alexa will provide the 5 most recent transactions for the current month, and you can say “continue” to hear up to 25 additional transactions for the month. Alexa will also provide the same information for the previous month when asked. For more activity or activity details, log into FHB Online or Mobile Banking.

Q: What balance information does the First Hawaiian Bank skill read?
A:

For deposit accounts, the skill will read back the available balance. For loan and credit card accounts, the skill will read back the outstanding balance.

Q: I just performed a transaction on my account but it's not being provided by the First Hawaiian Bank skill.
A:

Transactions done during the day or after hours will be available in the First Hawaiian Bank skill once it posts to your account.

Q: Can I nickname my accounts?
A:

No, at this time account nicknaming is not available in voice banking.

Q: Can I customize the First Hawaiian Bank skill to say only certain accounts?
A:

No, account information available through the First Hawaiian Bank skill is based on what is available in FHB Online.

Q: Why can't I transfer money using the First Hawaiian Bank skill?
A:

Transfers are not currently supported, however we’ll keep fhb.com/alexa updated as new features are released.
