Scam Activity Alert

First Hawaiian Bank (FHB) was made aware of fraudulent text messages, emails and phone calls that were potentially sent to our customers soliciting confidential information. These texts, emails and calls were not distributed by FHB and is an attempt by scammers to gain access to personally identifiable information.

Protect Your Information

Phishing Text

If you received a text message asking you to click a link to unlock your password, or to update your security settings, do not click the link and delete it immediately.

Phishing Email

If you receive an email claiming to be from FHB asking you to click on a suspicious link or requesting sensitive personal information such as your full account number, full social security number, login username or password, or security access code, delete it immediately.

Phishing Phone Call

If you receive a phone call from someone claiming to be from FHB's Fraud department requesting sensitive personal information such as your full account number, full social security number, login username or password, or security access code, hang up immediately.

If you provided information via one of the links in a suspicious text message or replied to the sender, please contact FHB right away at (808) 844-4444 (Oahu), (888) 844-4444 (toll free), or visit your nearest branch to ensure the security of your account.

As a reminder, FHB will not ask customers to provide confidential information such as account numbers, social security numbers, passwords, etc. via email or text message.
