Getting Started

What you need
You’ll need three things before you can use Voice Banking:
  1. FHB Online account – Enroll Today
  2. Amazon Account – Create a New Account
  3. Alexa-enabled device and the Alexa app – View Devices
Enable the First Hawaiian Bank skill[[#1]]
Open the Alexa app and go to “Skills” to search for the First Hawaiian Bank skill.
  1. Open the skill and click the “Enable” button
  2. Enter your FHB Online username and password
  3. Review & Accept the Terms & Conditions
  4. Create your 6-digit security code (this will be required whenever you open the skill)
  5. Say “Alexa, open First Hawaiian Bank!

      You can request balance, recent transaction and pending transaction information for your savings, checking, MaxiMizer, IRA, Christmas club, CD, Yes Check, credit card, and First Line account(s). If you are a newly enrolled FHB Online customer, or added a new account, it may take one business day to hear all of your account history using the First Hawaiian Bank skill.

        For deposit accounts, the skill will read back the available balance. For loan and credit card accounts, the skill will read back the outstanding balance.

          The security code is a 6-digit code (numbers only) that you create when enabling the First Hawaiian Bank skill. As an added layer of security, you will be required to provide your security code every time the First Hawaiian Bank skill is opened to confirm your identity. The security code is only used for the First Hawaiian Bank skill and is separate from your bank PIN.

            No. Account information is not stored on Alexa enabled devices or shared with Amazon.
