Q: What is the Mortgage Portal?

The Mortgage Portal is available through FHB Online and allows customers to access more detailed and specialized features and functionality to manage a mortgage account (e.g., principal-only payment capability, mortgage calculator, copies of annual 1098 and escrow statements). Enroll for FHB Online at
The Mortgage Portal is not available in the FHB Mobile app.

Q: Is there a fee to access the Mortgage Portal?

There is no additional fee to view mortgage information through the Mortgage Portal. There may be fees for certain requests made through the Mortgage Portal, (e.g., request copy of a loan document); applicable fees are displayed at the time of the request.

Q: Who can use the Mortgage Portal to access their mortgage account?

Both the borrower and co-borrower are able to view the mortgage via their respective FHB Online accounts/logins as long as they have a social security number.

Q: Can I access any mortgage account information if I do not have a Social Security number?

Yes, you can still enroll for FHB Online where you will be able to view basic mortgage account information and make standard payments via Internal or External Transfer. Unfortunately, you will not be able to access the Mortgage Portal with enhanced account management functionality.

Q: There are more than two borrowers on this loan but I only see two of them listed. Why?


Only the first two borrowers on the loan are reflected; additional borrowers are not shown but are included on our records. If you would like to confirm additional borrowers, you may call us at 844-4178 or toll-free at 1-800- 362-7606, Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm HST.

Q: How much loan history can I see in the Mortgage Portal?

You can view up to 5 years of loan history, up to a maximum of 200 transactions. Additional loan history can be provided upon request for a nominal fee. To make a request and for more information on applicable fees, please call us at 844-4178 or toll-free at 1-800-362-7606.

Q: Can I view information about my construction loan in the Mortgage Portal/

You are able to view basic information about your construction loan through FHB Online, but you will not be able to access the Mortgage Portal until the construction phase is completed and your construction loan is rolled over into a permanent loan. Once it is a permanent loan, you will be able to click the “Mortgage” link in FHB Online to access the Mortgage Portal.

Q: Will any of my mortgage payments be affected if I set them up previously?

No. If you already have automatic, scheduled or electronic payments established for your mortgage account, whether set up in person, through mail, or electronically through other FHB Online services, or other electronic bill payment services, those payments will not be affected by payments that you make or set-up through the mortgage portal.

Q: My mortgage payment is automatically deducted from my checking/savings account. How can I ensure that the payment was received?

To confirm the date your mortgage payment was received and applied to your mortgage, click on the My Mortgage dropdown then select Loan Activity.

Q: Will I be able to view my monthly mortgage statements online?

No, eStatements are not available for mortgage accounts. You will be able to view 61 months of your loan history online; however, you will continue to receive your official monthly mortgage statement via mail at this time.

Q: Where can I find the amount of interest and taxes that I've paid for this year?

In the Mortgage Portal, go to My Mortgage, then select Loan Details and click on the Tax and Interest tab. The total interest paid for the current year and previous year will be displayed.

Q: When will I receive my year-end statement of interest paid on my mortgage for tax purposes?

You can access your current IRS Substitute Form 1098 in the FHB Online Mortgage Portal by going to "Statements and Documents" then select "Year End Statement". Year-end interest-paid statements (IRS form 1098) are mailed out by the end of January. If you don’t receive it by February 15, contact us at 844-4178 or toll-free at 1-800-362-7606, Monday through Friday 7:30am -4:30pm HST.

Q: I do not see the Mortgage Calculator as an option. Why?

The Mortgage Calculator is available for most Fixed Rate Mortgages. If your loan falls into one of the following categories, the Mortgage Calculator will not be available for your use:

  • Adjustable Rate Mortgages
  • Construction Loans
  • Interest Only Loans
  • Paid in Full Loans
  • Loans with principal balances less than or equal to zero
