Add a New Subcategory

If you do not see a category or subcategory that meets your needs, you can add a new sub-category at any time.

  1. Select the transaction that you want to update
  2. Select the Pencil icon in the Category field
  3. Select “+ Add Sub-Category” under the main category that the new subcategory will belong to
  4. Enter your new subcategory
  5. Select the check mark to submit

NOTE: You can create new subcategories but are not able to add main categories

If you create a new subcategory by mistake, or want to delete a subcategory that is no longer needed, please review how to delete a subcategory
